How do I open an archive?
Open Unzo and tap Extract, then pick the archive — or, from any app (Files, Mail, a chat app), tap the archive and choose Open with Unzo or share it to Unzo. Unzo detects the format automatically.
It asks for a password
The archive is encrypted. Enter the password the sender used. If it’s wrong, Unzo will say so and let you try again.
“A part is missing”
The archive is split into multiple parts (for example .001, .002, or
.part1.rar). Select all the parts together — Unzo joins them for you. If one is
missing, you’ll need to obtain the complete set.
Can Unzo create a RAR file?
No. Unzo opens RAR archives but creates zip and 7z only — RAR compression is proprietary. Use 7z for strong compression that any standard tool can open.
Where do my extracted files go?
They’re placed in Unzo’s private workspace and shown on the result screen, where you can preview them and save or share them out. Unzo isn’t a file manager — it keeps each operation self-contained, and working copies are cleared automatically.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything happens on your device — no uploads, no account, no tracking. See our Privacy Policy.
